Meatball Parmesan Bake

Great for: Busy weeknights or party food

Ingredients (serves 3-4 people):
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh basil or parsley (optional)
  • Toasted bread or garlic bread, for serving
Step 1 — Start the meatballs
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Spread frozen meatballs in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and bake 12–15 minutes to start browning.
Step 2 — Sauce & season
  • Pour marinara over the meatballs. Sprinkle Italian seasoning.
Step 3 — Add cheese
  • Top with mozzarella and parmesan.
Step 4 — Bake until bubbly
  • Return to oven for 10–12 minutes until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
Step 5 — Finish
  • Top with chopped basil or parsley. Serve hot with toasted bread for scooping.
Optional add-ons:
  • Red chili flakes
  • Sautéed mushrooms or peppers added under the sauce
  • A drizzle of olive oil before serving
